Write.as

May 2019 - October 2019

Working on a number of open-source projects under the Write.as organization. The main product is Writefreely, a federated blogging platform. Things I worked on include the command line client, writefreely itself, the Go API library, a Digital Ocean 'one-click' install image and the Docker images. I also built a cross browser extension to render previews.

Project Athens

July 2018 - June 2019

A Go module solution and proxy. I worked initially on expanding the storage back-end implementations: GCP, S3/Minio. Later mostly issue triage, code review and project direction/leadership discussions due to time constraints.

Greater Commons

February 2017 - May 2018

An online education platform written in Go with a focus on performance. I participated in the rewrite to micro services and owned the new storage service from the start, which was backed by GCP. I did some other general work including JavaScript and HTML/CSS front end changes for UI and course creation flow. Some other tech used was Google's Datastore DB and Analytics.
